Recreational Classes Fall/Spring 2023-24

Fall 2023/Spring 2024 season begins Monday, September 11th, 2023.

Tiny Tots

Ages 18 months to 3 years

This is a creative movement class promoting listening skills, socialization and creativity. 

Dancer Package: $(2023/24 Dancer Package pricing available October 31st.) Deadline for registration for the optional performance program is not until 2/17/24 for Tiny Tots classes only. We wait just a little longer at this age for a commitment, because they change so fast and we want to give our families time to make the best choices for their dancer(s).

One adult family member will start in the room with their dancer. Adult family members will transition out of the room once dancers are confident and comfortable.

Preschool Combo Class

Ages 3-4 years

Class meets for 45 minutes, once per week. Instruction in ballet, tap, and creative movement, with an emphasis on building basic skills and a love of dance! 

Dancer Package is $(2023/24 Dancer Package pricing available October 31st, 2023). Dancers perform one routine in both the Holiday Show and Spring Recital. 

Shoes required for performance: Pink Ballet Shoes and Tan Tap Shoes.

5-7 Combo Class

Ages 5-7 years

Class meets for 1 hour, once per week. Instruction in ballet, tap and jazz, with an emphasis on fundamental techniques and stage performance skills.

Dancer Package is $(2023/24 Dancer Package pricing available October 31st, 2023). Dancers perform one routine in both the Holiday Show and two routines in the Spring Recital. 

Shoes required for performance: Pink Ballet Shoes and Tan Tap Shoes.

8-11 Combo Class

Ages 8-11 years

Class meets for 1 hour, once per week. Instruction in ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical/contemporary. Students will work to improve technique in each discipline, learn new technical and performance skills, and master more complex choreography.

Shoes required for performance:1/2 Ballet Shoes and Tan Tap Shoes. 

Teen Combo Class

Ages 12 years and up

Class meets for 1 hour, once per week. Instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical/contemporary. Students will continue to improve technique in each discipline, strengthen performance skills, and further explore the physical, creative, and emotional aspects of the art form of dance.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop is a great chance for students to explore musicality, rhythm and freestyle creative movement.

Mini Hip Hop Ages 4-7 years

Shoes required: clean, supportive tennis shoes.

Hip Hop 1 Ages 8-11 years

Dancer Package is $(2023/24 Dancer Package pricing available October 31st, 2023). Dancers perform one routine in both the Holiday Show and Spring Recital. 

Shoes required: clean, supportive tennis shoes.

Hip Hop 2 Ages 12 years and up $58/month

Dancer Package is $(2023/24 Dancer Package pricing available October, 2023). Dancers perform one routine in both the Holiday Show and Spring Recital. 

Shoes required: clean, supportive tennis shoes.

Tumbling

These classes are a technique based class and do not have a performance opportunity.

Shoes required: Ability to be barefoot.

Mini Tumblers Ages 4-6 years

Tumbling A Ages 7-10 years

Tumbling B Ages 11-13 years

Tumbling C Ages 14-18 years

Ballet Technique

These classes are a technique based class and do not have a performance opportunity.

Beginner-Advanced levels available. Dancers will be placed in the appropriate level by our Ballet Instructors. Pointe and Pre-Pointe Classes are also available.

Leaps & Turns

These classes are a technique based class and do not have a performance opportunity.

**These classes are for dancers who have an intermediate/advanced level of dance for their age group. We encourage beginner dancers of any age to enjoy one of our other class options before adding this class.

Shoes required: 1/2 Ballet Shoes and ability to be barefoot.

Leaps & Turns 1 Ages 7-12 years

Adult Classes

Adult Hip Hop

Dancer Package is $(2023/24 Dancer Package pricing available October 31st, 2023). Optional-Dancers perform one routine in both the Holiday Show and Spring Recital. 

Shoes required: clean, supportive tennis shoes.

Dancer Package Fee for all classes performing in the recital will be charged in 2 payments on 11/15 and 12/15 or a family can opt to pay it at one time. Dancer Packages are created to make things simple for families! Rather than multiple things/payments to keep track of all year, everything (costumes, tights, recital t-shirt, recital video, etc.) is bundled into a Dancer Package. Dance shoes, dance pictures and holiday show/recital tickets are the only other purchases. These items have too many personalized choices/variables and we want to let our families make their own choices to fit their needs. Wait…what if my dancer is doing multiple classes…do I pay for everything twice? Nope, but don’t worry about it! Register your dancer(s) for classes and we will figure out the rest for you!
