We are so proud that our competition groups continue to be successful year after year. One thing that we really take pride in at Dance Tech is that we strive very hard to keep dance enjoyable, and not burn out our dancers. Most of our top dancers, dance only 4-6 hours per week.
We have 3 levels of competition groups at Dance Tech. Each varies by the level of commitment and ability. This provides every dancer that wants to compete, an opportunity to do so. Many of our dancers enjoy being in other activities, and the way our different competitive levels are allows them to have a life outside of dance, which we feel is so important.
We also strive to teach our dancers life skills they can carry with them as they grow and mature. These skills include team work, self confidence, discipline, respect, commitment, etc... We find that these skills trickle over into many areas of their lives as well.
